Consultation

Meet with your injector to talk through your goals, review your medical history and see if you’re a good candidate.

Your Custom Plan

Your injector studies your facial structure and skin, then recommends the right products, areas and amount for a balanced result.

Treatment

Topical numbing and lidocaine-containing fillers help keep you comfortable. Results from filler are visible right away.

Aftercare

Mild swelling, tenderness or light bruising is normal and temporary. We’ll let you know when to come back to maintain your results.

Injectables FAQs

What are dermal fillers made of?

The JUVÉDERM® fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance your skin already makes that attracts and holds moisture. Products marked “XC” also contain lidocaine to help keep treatment comfortable.

How long does filler last?

It depends on the product, the area treated and your body. According to Allergan clinical studies, JUVÉDERM® results last up to 1 year for products like VOLBELLA® XC and VOLUX™ XC, up to 18 months for VOLLURE™ XC, and up to 2 years for VOLUMA™ XC in the cheeks. Most of our lip filler clients enjoy results for six to twelve months.

How many syringes will I need?

It’s one of the most common questions we hear, and the answer is often more than people expect. Facial aging happens in more than one area, so a natural-looking refresh may mean treating several. When filler is placed strategically, multiple syringes don’t make you look “done.” They help you look rested. Your injector will recommend an amount at your consultation. Is there downtime after filler?

Filler is non-surgical, so most people return to their day right away. You may notice mild swelling, tenderness or light bruising afterward. These effects are temporary. Learn what to expect after lip filler.

Can I combine injectables?

Yes. In fact, many plans do. For example, one client had filler, SKINVIVE™ and Botox® to smooth her chin-to-jawline transition, soften the downward pull around her mouth and boost her skin’s hydration and glow.

What’s the difference between filler and Sculptra?

Fillers add volume and contour right away. Sculptra® works gradually by stimulating your body’s own collagen over several sessions, and results can last two years or more. Read more about Sculptra vs. fillers.
