Using a method called pixelating, the aesthetician deposits small, undetectable dots of pigment to line and shade. Lip Blushing Procedure
First, your aesthetician will numb your lips so that you’ll feel less pain and discomfort.
While you’re waiting for the numbing agent to take full effect, your aesthetician will go over your desired lip shape and tone. Next, they’ll insert a natural-looking pigment into your lips using small needles. This is done in multiple layers to help create an even tone. In all, the process can take between 1-2 hours.
Lip blushing carries the same side effects and risks as traditional tattooing. Minor side effects are to be expected, though they’ll decrease as your lips heal. These include:
- swelling
- redness
- pain

How Long Does It Last?
